Where it all starts...

Exhibit design

Orca Aquariums will help you create the exhibit of your imagination. Our team will help create the engineering drawings to ensure the needs of your animals are met. We then move into the display of the exhibit. From décor to lighting we ensure that the animals health and guest experience is always fulfilled to the high

where does it start ?

Step 1: P&ID

Orca Aquariums starts with the engineering side of your exhibit. What is the size of the exhibit? What surface area/footprint will it have? Is it fully terrestrial, aquatic or combination of the two? From there we design the life support system to ensure proper care of the animals within the exhibit. Whether it be a 20gal home a aquarium, 1000gal reef tank or million gallon shark tank we ensure that the design of your system provides the best quality of life for your animals. The "P&ID" is a pipe and instrumentation diagrams that outlines all the component and instrumentation that will be used within the life support system of each project. Once a finalized plan is created we move to the second step

Step 2: Visualization:

At this stage we work on starting to create the visualization of the exhibit. The lighting selection, lighting automation and lighting schedule beings development. We offer a 3D rendering service of the exhibit and corresponding life support. Working with our customer we develop the décor for the exhibit and ensure it will withstand the demands of the exhibit and conditions.

Step 3: Equipment selection and installation

The final stage is equipment selection and installation.  Working with industry leading vendors who specialize in aquaculture, zoos and aquarium production, we select the equipment that will work best for your project while at the same time maximizing efficiency and reducing operational cost. Our team will work to install, commission and even train your team on the equipment and associated automation!
